|Black Bass||Fair||1/2 to 4 pounds||The lake has good numbers of largemouth bass and a low level smallmouth bass population. Bass are being caught along the weed line or rock piers. Early mornings have been good for topwater baits|
|Channel Catfish||Good!||3/4 to 3 pounds||The lake is in the Urban Stocking Program and is frequently stocked with 12 to 18 inch channel catfish. This allows for good harvest rates of eater size catfish. 710 channel catfish were stocked on 7/14/2015. This brings the yearly total to 3,810 channel catfish stocked so far this year. This time of year catfish can be found about anywhere along the shoreline or around the two fish feeders (Don't fish too deep!) The best baits have been worms or commercial catfish bait. Most days you can usually catch at least a couple. Channel catfish creel at the lake is 5 a day.|
|Crappie||Fair to Slow||1/4 to 1 pound||A few being caught along the dam or rock piers with a minnow under a bobber.|
Pott. # 2 is noted for family outings, scenic views, catch and release bass fishing, harvest of small crappie and channel catfishing. The channel cat population is maintained with 2 fish feeders and frequent stockings of 12+ inch fish from March through September.
