Channel catfish Fair to Good 1.5-5 lbs Drifting with shad.  Some being caught on cut bait and sunfish.  Stinkbait, chicken liver and worms working around feeders.
Black bass Fair to Good 0.5-4 lbs Mainly smallmouth are being caught - many small ones.  Using jigs and crankbaits.
Crappie Slow-Fair 0.3-1 lb Using minnows and jigs over cover in about 20-25 feet of water.
General Comments
Sept. 4 water level 0.19 feet high, release rate = 20 cfs , water temperature = 76.   Melvern Reservoir has Zebra Mussels, Remember to clean, drain, and dry your boat and fishing equipment when leaving the lake to keep from spreading them to other lakes.
