500 ducks were observed on 10/5/2015, split pretty evenly between mallards, gadwalls, pintails, and blue-wing teal.

|Water level||The lake is currently just under conservation pool. The dewatering of the outlet tubes has begun and the water in the reservoir will begin to rise.|
|Hunting conditions||With Tuttle creek lake level being 40 feet high this summer vegetation in the wetlands units will not be the greatest.|

|Comments||A permit/survey is required to hunt the Black Vermillion and Olsburg marshes and can be found at the parking lots adjacent to each marsh. Please complete this survey. The data collected from this permit/survey supplies the Manager with valuable comments and harvest information to better manage the area.|
