‘LOGBOOK’ OFFERS INSIGHTS INTO RESOURCE OFFICERS’ ACTIVITIES

They’ve been known in the past as game wardens, game protectors, and conservation officers. These days, KDWP’s law enforcement responsibilities are carried out by Kansas Natural Resource Officers. They each have a variety of responsibilities and seasonal variation in their jobs. And they encounter a variety of people and circumstances.

The department’s Law Enforcement Division comprises a total staff of 78, and their mission is to enforce state and federal fish and wildlife laws, boating laws, and public lands regulations. For insights into the lives of these officers, check out the Officers’ Logbook .
