SAFARI CLUB DONATES $3,000 TO KANSAS FARMERS AND HUNTERS FEEDING THE HUNGRY

International organization aids local efforts
WICHITA -- The Chisholm Trail Chapter of Safari Club International (SCI) recently donated $3,000 to the Kansas Chapter of Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry (FHFH). The donation will help Kansas FHFH pay for processing of wild game for distribution through local food banks. This provides hunters a vehicle to donate wild game without incurring processing costs.

"This is one of several community projects the Chisholm Trail Chapter of Safari Club International supports in order to promote education and hunters rights," says Mark Schulte, chapter president. "When hunters provide meat to the hungry, they not only help those in need, but they reflect a positive image of hunters in the minds of non-hunters."

SCI is an international organization dedicated to preserving the hunting heritage. For more information, visit their website, www.safariclub.org, or phone Schulte at 316-648-9961 or email markschulte62@yahoo.com.
