Have you been looking for a good place to hunt for Pokemon? Cedar Bluff State Park is your Place. Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas is sponsoring free vehicle permits so there is no cost to hunt pokemon! Bluffton Area has 10 Stops and 3 Gyms. Page Creek has 2 Stops and 1 Gym. We will be placing Lures at 3 different locations for 10 hours each, 10am to 8pm in the Bluffton Area Campgrounds.
Need a charge? If you pack your charger, any unused electrical spot will be available for free phone charging!
This will be great family fun, so take advantage of the cooler weather at this all free event! 
Here at Cedar Bluff State Park we encourage everyone to use safety and get outside and get some healthy fun!

Cedar Bluff State Park will be hosting a Pokemon Go Hunt from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. putting Pokemon lures in the north side of the Park. With 3 gyms and 10 Pokemon stops in just a small area, you are sure to "catch them all!"

Special interest cars/trucks of all years, makes and models will cruise though Perry State Park Oct 1 2016.  This 30 mile drive from Perry KS to Lake Ridge Estates is due to travel through PERRY STATE PARK Campgrounds approximately 2:30.  October 1 is Free Entrance Day at all State Parks. No Vehicle Permit is required. Watch the car parade and enjoy a free daily stay at Perry State Park.

Come join us at Shelter #6 in Campground #3 for an up close look at our Live Snakes & Turtles on display. We'll bring their cages out to the campground for an hour talk and interactive lesson about snakes & turtles in Kansas. After the talk you'll have a chance to touch or hold a snake and get your picture taken!
COST...All you need is a vehicle permit to enter into the state park to come and join us. $5 if you haven't already purchased the Annual Vehicle Permit. ($25/year - valid in ALL State Parks in KS for the rest of the year.)

$30 dollar registration.  Join us for a weekend of riding that will include Eisenhower State Park trails and the Corps of Engineers land open through special use permit.   Dinner on Saturday night with door prizes and a live auction to raise additional proceeds.  Hot breakfast provided before the Sunday ride.    Additional sites and corrals are limited so reserve sites through our office.

Registration and additional information is available online at safehunters.com.

Students must complete the online portion of the course prior to attending the field day. The online course is accessed by links at http://ksoutdoors.com/Services/Education/Hunter/Internet-assisted-Course. Each student will be issued a pre-test over the online materials. 

All students will be tested over the Internet course material. This pre-test will be administered at the beginning of the Field Day. A passing score of 22 correct answers out of 25 questions is required to proceed with the rest of the course. Students failing to achieve the minimum score of 22 will be dismissed from the class.

The field walk session will be as much like an actual hunt as possible. It is recommended to wear boots or walking shoes and long pants. 

Instructor Notes for Students: There is a $10.00 range fee for this class. There is no place to eat lunch close so bring a lunch with you, you will not be released for lunch. This class is at the Fancy Creek Shooting Range we will be outside for the whole class please dress accordingly.
