The Kansas UltraRunners Society will hold their annual Rockin' K 50-Mile Trail Run & Trail Marathon on Saturday, April 7, 2018, beginning at 7:00 a.m., at Kanopolis State Park. This run covers a multi-use equestrian, hiking and mountain bike trail. It includes hills, rocky sections, sand and numerous shallow water crossings. The marathon course is the first loop; the 50-mile course is a double loop of the marathon loop. The AERC Kanopolis Canyons Endurance Ride will be held May 11-13, 2018. Check-ins with the ride secretary will start at Noon on Friday, May 11  with judges when available. Proof of negative Coggins test is required on all horses in camp and current health papers are required on all out-of-state horses. This is a 2 day competitive trail ride for members of the North American Trail Ride Conference.  Non-members are encouraged to come and learn about the sport.  Novice and Veteran riders, ride trails, do obstacles for judges and the horses condition is checked at vet check stations.
