FARMERS AND HUNTERS FEEDING THE HUNGRY UP A TREE

Bowhunter to sit in tree to raise money for the poor
TOPEKA -- On Thursday, Aug. 23, Brian Hermann of Topeka will climb into his treestand at the corner of 45th and Adams near the capitol city in an effort to raise $5,000 for the Mission Creek Chapter of Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry (FHFH). Hermann has vowed to stay in the tree until his mission is accomplished.

FHFH provides venison to needy families. Hunters can donate deer to participating processors at no cost to the hunter. Donations from hunters, churches, clubs, businesses, and individuals cover the costs of processing, packaging, and freezing the meat.

Donations to this FHFH effort may be made on site at 45th and Adams; at the Alliance Bank, 3301 SW Wanamaker or 6th and MacVicar in Topeka; Schwant Tractor, 13552 SW K-4 Highway in Dover; or Somerset Hall Cafe, 5701 SW Douglas Road in Topeka. Donations may also be mailed to FHFH, 3200 SW Carlson Road, Topeka, KS 66614.

For more information, phone Hermann at 785-256-6740 or 785-969-4272 or email him at greywolfarchery@msn.com.
