Kanopolis Reservoir is in the Low Plains Early Duck Zone which is currently closed.
Low Plains Late Duck Zone open Oct. 29, 2016 - Jan. 1, 2017. Reopens Jan. 21 - Jan. 29, 2017. This zone includes the rest of the area south of Hwy 24.
Canada geese open Oct. 29, 2016 - Jan. 1, 2017. Reopens Jan. 4 - Feb. 12, 2017.
White-fronted geese open Oct. 29, 2016 - Jan. 1, 2017. Reopens Jan. 21 - Feb. 12, 2017.
Light geese open Oct. 29, 2016 - Jan. 1, 2017. Reopens Jan. 4 - Feb. 12, 2017.
Remember the refuge area on the northwest part of the lake is closed to all access SEPT 1- JAN 31 except by special permit.
