Registration and additional information can be found online at safehunters.com. 

Students must complete the online portion of the course prior to attending the field day. The online course is accessed by links at http://ksoutdoors.com/Services/Education/Hunter/Internet-assisted-Course. Each student will be issued a pre-test over the online materials. 

All students will be tested over the Internet course material. This pre-test will be administered at the beginning of the Field Day. A passing score of 22 correct answers out of 25 questions is required to proceed with the rest of the course. Students failing to achieve the minimum score of 22 will be dismissed from the class.

The field walk session will be as much like an actual hunt as possible. It is recommended to wear boots or walking shoes and long pants.

This is an internet assisted course field day. Participants must first register for this course by calling or visiting the Butler County Extension Office in El Dorado, 316-321-9660, 206 N. Griffith. Participants must then log on to the KDWPT website, ksoutdoors.com, click on the Education tab, then follow the instructions to take and complete the internet course. Participants must bring their completion certificate to the course in order to take the field day. A pretest will also be given, and participants must pass this pretest in order to take the field day.
