Welcome to Elk City State Park!
Park Conditions - Due to high water, some areas are still closed or have limited access. The water has receded enough to open the dump station, laundry house, and shower house in Comfort Cove. Prairie Meadow and Timber Road campgrounds are open. Comfort Cove sites 1-18 and 25-46 are open and more may be available as water continues to drop. There are no utility sites available on Sunset Point. The boat ramp is not reachable but boats have been launching from flooded parking lot. Please use caution if launching and operating a vessel due to fishing jetties and other hazards currently underwater and not marked. Buoys have moved from original locations due to high water. The fishing and boating docks are not accessible due to high water. The park trails are usable but use caution due to washouts and debris. Call the office for site availability.
End Of Summer Bash/OK Kids Day will be August 1st. Free Entrance all day with activities hosted by the park and the Friends Group. Times TBD
Lake Conditions - 805 ft (+9ft) with 2900cfs release.
Youth/Mentor Pond: Anglers 16 to 75 must have a fishing license and be accompanied by a fishing youth under 16. Special Creel Limits and Regulations are in effect.
