Lovewell Reservoir is 5 ft below conservation pool. Cedar Point Boat Ramp is still usable, but boaters are urged use caution on the reservoir, with low water hazards and many shallow areas on the north and south shorelines, sandbars extending from Walleye Point and the Cabin Area point, and very little water at the west end of the reservoir.

With the season winding down quickly, several campgrounds and restroom/shower buildings are now closed, in order to reduce the maintenance manpower needed for the off-season.  Cedar Point Utility, Cottonwood Utility, and North Willow Utility Campgrounds as well as Southwinds, Cottonwood and Willow Shower/Restroom Facilities will are now closed for the season.  Options for Utility Camping for the off-season (October-March) are Walleye Point Utility and South Willow Utility Campgrounds. The Walleye Point Shower/Restroom Facility remains open, as well as a public shower/restroom facility located at the state park maintenance building. Plenty of opportunities still to enjoy the beautiful fall weather at Lovewell State Park!
