Waterfowl Numbers

800+ Teal-Combination Blue and Greenwing.  Several Thousand "Big Ducks" also (Wood Ducks, Wigeon, Gadwall, Mallard and Pintail)                    200 Resident Canada Geese.

Water level Reservoir Elevation - 2132.4 (11.6 ft. low)  
Hunting conditions Shoreline hunting is still difficult with flooded shoreline vegetation
Expected hunting success Good, if you can find a place to set decoys. Hunters accessing by boat should be more successful.

North Shore State Park is Closed to Hunting.

Youth / Mentor hunting is also available

Zebra Mussels, Eurasian Milfoil, and Phragmites are present in Cedar Bluff Reservoir.  Please clean and dry all equipment, decoys and boats before hunting other bodies of water.
