NATURE CONSERVANCY TO OUTLINE CONSERVATION PRIORITIES

Kansas conservation plans will presented at Chisholm Trail QU meeting
ABILENE -- Rob Manes, director of Conservation Programs with The Nature Conservancy (TNC), will present an overview of TNC's conservation programs to the Chisholm Trail Quail Unlimited chapter on Thursday, March 8, at 7 p.m. at the La Fiesta restaurant in Abilene. The program will outline TNC's conservation priorities for Kansas, including an overview of challenges and opportunities for upland bird enthusiasts. Manes is a 27-year veteran of wildlife management in Kansas, with considerable national experience.
