WIND GENERATOR MEETINGS AT WILSON STATE PARK SEPT. 29

Two meetings allow public input on wind generators in the park
WILSON — On Sept. 29, the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks will conduct two public meetings to present information concerning the potential installation of two wind turbines within Wilson State Park. Representatives from KDWP and Ameresco will outline these plans, which are part of a department-wide energy savings plan. Time will be allotted for public questions and comments.

The first meeting will begin at 2 p.m., and the second will begin at 7 p.m., both at the Wilson Senior Center, 511 25th Street in Wilson. For more information, phone Wilson State Park at 785-658-2465.
