Species Rating Size Baits, Method, and Location
Bluegill Fair Up to 1/3 lb The lake has a decent bluegill population. Just North of the boat ramp is usually a good spot for bigger gills. 
Channel catfish Fair to Good Up to 7 lbs Good numbers of channel cats are available. The North bank is a popular spot to fish for cats.
Crappie Fair to Good Up to 1lb The lake has lots of crappie, but not too many over 10 inches. Along the dam or East bank tends to be the best spots.
Largemouth bass Fair Up to 4 lbs The largemouth bass population has been really improving the last few years and the 2018 sample recorded the highest abundance in over a decade.  Most of the population is still below 15 inches but there are a few big fish around.
Saugeye Slow  Up to 3 lbs The lake has fair numbers of saugeye over the 21 inch minimum length limit.
