Big Hill Reservoir Fishing Report -
Species Rating Size Baits, Method & Location
Crappie Fair 6-12" Crappie fishing remains slow.  Fish have started moving under the bridge at the north end of the reservoir, but have been slow to bite.  Vertical jigging small baits has been producing the most fish.
Channel Catfish Fair 16-24" Catfishing remains slow.  Look for Catfishing to improve with warmer temps in the forecast.  Shad sides have been producing the most fish.
Largemouth and Smallmouth  Bass Poor 12-18" Largemouth bass fishing has been slow.  Slow fish soft plastics around the submerged timber or rocky areas for the best success.
Bluegill and Redears Fair 6-8" Look for bluegill and redear just outside of the weed line.  Small bait under a bobber has been working the best.
