Garnett North Fishing Report -
Species Rating Size Baits, Method & Location
Crappie Slow-Fair 8-14 inches Various colored jigs around brush or off of the north dock around the cubes. Crappie have probably moved to deeper water near structure try vertical jigging around any type of brush or sharp drop off.
Channel catfish Good 8-30 inches Livers, shad sides, or other prepared baits along ledges or windy banks. Fishing the upper end of the lake should produce some fish with the water running in.
Largemouth Bass Good up to 4lbs. Using topwaters, crankbaits or spinnerbaits should be productive. Otherwise shaky heads and Ned rigs are great for tough bite situations. This lake has a high density population of bass so harvesting fish outside the slot limit would be beneficial to the population.
Wipers Fair up to 6 lbs Chicken livers or crankbaits fish around wind blown banks and dropoffs. 
Walleye Slow   curly tailed jigs or crankbaits along the bank near deeper water.

Please remember to help STOP AQUATIC HITCHHIKERS! CLEAN, DRAIN, and DRY your boat and livewell when leaving water bodies. 

Four Georgia Cube Fish Attractors were placed by the fishing dock (2on the East end and 2 on the West end) on the north end of the lake. 

DO NOT MOVE FISH OR BAIT TO DIFFERENT WATERS!
