Wilson State Fishing Lake Fishing Report -
Species Rating Size Baits, Method & Location  
Channel Catfish Good 16-24" Catfishing remains good.  Look for catfish to move into the shallows at dark.  Shad sides have been working the best.  
Largemouth and Spotted Bass Good 10-22" Largemouth bass have started to move into the shallows to spawn.  Soft plastic swim baits or anything resembling a shad have been working best.  
Crappie Fair 8-12" Crappie fishing remains hit or miss.  Look for Crappie near brush piles and docks.  Vertical jigging small baits has been working best.    
Bluegill and Redear Good 6-8" Bluegills and redears fishing remains good.  Bluegills have moved up shallow to spawn.  Look for fish on shallow flats and use a small worm under a bobber.  
General Comments
Water temps this week were 69 degrees.
Both maintained boat ramps are currently usable.
