Channel Catfish | Good/Excellent | Most in the 13 to 18 inch range | Still fishing cut bait or hot dogs on shallow flats, along rip rapped shorelines, or up in the creek. Anglers report catching fish of all sizes with fish up to 8 lbs. here and there. |
Crappie | Fair/Good | Up to 15 inches | Fishing minnows under a bobber around brush and along deeper rip rapped shorelines has been good depending on the day. |
Largemouth Bass | Good | Up to 5.5 lbs. | Casting soft plastics or shad imitating swimbaits and crankbaits around laydown trees and over hanging brush has been good for fish up to 5 lbs. |
Sunfish | Good/Excellent | Up to 8 inches | Sunfish are spawning. Fishing small jigs or nightcrawler pieces under a bobber in shallow areas possessing gravel bottoms can yield fast action for fish up to 8 inches. |
Saugeye | Fair/Good | Up to 7 lbs. | Casting shad imitating swim baits and crank baits along rip rapped shorelines, points, and areas possessing a hard bottom. Other anglers report good catches fishing worms under a bobber over the previously mentioned habitat. |

Release all saugeye less than 18 inches and largemouth bass less than 15 inches. Please discard of leftover bait in a trash can, even baitfish. Remember it is illegal to release any fish into public water unless it was taken from that water! | |||
