Life Jackets Life Jackets - A readily accessible Type I, II, III or V life jacket for every person on board the vessel. Children 12 and under must wear their life jackets at all times, even when anchored.
Type IV PFD Type IV PFD - One throwable PFD is required to be readily accessible
Sound Producing Device Mechanical sound producing device - all motorized vessels are required to carry a horn or a whistle.
Bell Bell - every motorboat longer than 40 feet must also be equipped with a bell.
Ventilation Ventilation System - exhaust ducts, power blower, or by opening engine compartment after fueling to let fumes escape before starting
Muffler Muffler - exhaust water manifold or factory installed muffler in good working order and in constant operation
Navigation Lights Navigation Lights - vessels must be equipped with the proper navigation lights and use them during periods of restricted visibility (fog, heavy rain) or while on the water between sunset and sunrise.

Skier Down Flag Skier down flag - bright orange or red flag at least 12” square that is required to be displayed immediately after the person(s) being towed are in the water, either getting ready to be towed or during retrieval of a fallen skier.
Wide Angle Mirror/Observer Wide angle rear view mirror or observer - Observer is required to be at least 12 years of age, or wide angle mirror must be placed to provide maximum vision of the person being towed.
