Winter Kansas Roadrunners
How can I find places to fish close to home?

The best way is to click “Where to fish” on the left-side menu of the “Fishing” page of this website. There you can learn about all federal, state and community waters, as well as stream access points. And you can download the 2010 Kansas Fishing Atlas, which has maps showing all public waters, as well as private ponds and streams leased by KDWP’s F.I.S.H program for public access. Printed copies of the atlas will soon be available in KDWP offices and wherever licenses are sold.
