Quail Initiative
What is the F.I.S.H. program?

F.I.S.H. stands for Fishing Impoundments and Stream Habitats, and the program leases ponds and stream access sites from private landowners and opens them to public fishing. Private ponds and streams in 45 counties are open to fishing March-October. To learn more about the program and to view maps of F.I.S.H. areas, View the 2010 Fishing Atlas page.
