Arkansas River Float
Can I float any Kansas stream or river without permission?

No. Most Kansas waterways are privately owned to stream center by adjacent land owners, requiring their permission to float. Exceptions are the Arkansas river, the Kaw river and the Missouri river, which are public waters.
