Stein Playa Wetland

Area News

The 117 acre Stein Playa is located 2.5 miles west and .5 miles south of Spearville in Ford County. The area is comprised of approximately 73 playa wetland acres and 44 native grass acres. Stein Playa is managed for migratory waterfowl, shorebirds, and upland game. The area is open to hunting by posted notice which allows the manager to monitor wildlife usage and adjust accordingly.
