To ensure the health and safety of visitors and KDWPT personnel, select KDWPT facilities may temporarily have adjusted operating hours and/or be closed to public visitation. Prior to traveling, visitors are encouraged to call ahead for the most up-to-date information.

Chase State Fishing Lake (1.5 miles west of Cottonwod Falls, KS) – Per local mandate, temporarily closed.
Vault Toilet Facilities (varied by location) – Per local mandates, vault toilet facilities may be temporarily closed in select counties.
Fancy Creek Shooting Range (14890 Honor Camp Ln, Randolph, KS 66554) – Temporarily closed.
Great Plains Nature Center (6232 East 29th St., Wichita, KS 67220) – Temporarily closed to public visitation.
Kansas Wetlands Education Center (592 NE K-156 Hwy, Great Bend, KS 67530) – Temporarily closed to public visitation.
Maxwell Wildlife Refuge (2577 Pueblo Road, Canton, KS 67428) – Public tours temporarily suspended.
Milford Nature Center/Milford Fish Hatchery (3415 Hatchery Dr., Junction City, KS 66441) – Temporarily closed to public visitation.
Pratt Education Center (512 SE 25th Ave., Pratt, KS 67124) – Temporarily closed to public visitation.
Sandsage Bison Range (785 S. Hwy 83, Garden City, KS 67846) – Public tours temporarily suspended.
Southeast Kansas Nature Center (3511 S. Main St., Galena, KS 66739) – Temporarily closed to public visitation.
Kansas Tourism: Travel Information Centers
Goodland (MM 7 Eastbound on I-70) – The brochure distribution portion of the Goodland Travel Information Center is closed. Restrooms are open and limited travel brochures are available in the lobby.
Belle Plaine (770 N. I-35) – The brochure distribution portion and gift shop at the Belle Plaine Travel Information Center is closed. Restrooms, gas and food services remain open.
