The office will be closed for Thanksgiving Holiday. We will reopen Monday November 26th and 8:00 am.

The Park remains open and there is a Free entrance day is Friday November 23 2018.  All Overnight Camping fees will still apply.  Daily vehicle and camping permits can be obtained by using the self-pay station north of this office, the Campground Entrance, the Bike Trails and at the North Boat Ramp.

Event is in Casner Creek Campground, lawn chairs, and insect repellant are recommended to fully enjoy this great event!

17th Annual Fall River Rendezvous

Step back to 1819, a time with the mountain man and the American Indians walked the recently purchased Louisiana Purchase. A time when Lewis and Clark had finished their exploration, and others were wanting to follow in their footsteps. The event interprets 1800-1840 with a traditional rendezvous when Mountain Men and American Indians camped together to trade for needed supplies from the fur companies. Activities will include Indian and Mountain Men Encampments, Historical Traders, Blackpowder Shoot, Tomahawk Throw, Skillet Throw for the Ladies, and a Kids Gold Rush. Come out to Fall River State Park and step back to 1819.
