The Crappie cabin is a 2 bedroom cabin with two sets of bunkbeds in one bedroom, a full sized bed and futon in the other bedroom, and a fold-down futon in the living room. It will sleep 8 to 9. It has a furnished kitchen with full sized refrigerator and stove, air conditioner/heater, outside hydrant, picnic table, and a common fire ring with grill. 

Cheney State Park has 12 modern cabins that we are offering as an alternative to “roughing it.” These provide a great opportunity to experience the joys of the outdoors for those wanting to enjoy the lake but not wanting to tent-camp.

Cabins are located in an area together but staggered to provide privacy from each other. They are in close proximity to the lake and are within walking distance of the beach. Those reserving the cabins must provide their own bed linens, pillows, towels, soap, and personal items. Smoking is not allowed in the cabins and pets are not allowed in the cabins. There is a leash law in effect for the park.

Pawnee cabin is a modern log sided cabin. The cabin has a full kitchen with refrigerator, stove top (NO OVEN), microwave, and basic kitchen amenities. The master bedroom has a full size bed. The cabin offers a table with four chairs and a futon in the living room. The bathroom has a shower and toilet. Pawnee will accommodate up to 4 people. The cabin is air conditioned and heated, but does not have a television or phone. A concrete shelter is located outside the cabin and has a picnic table, fire-ring and bbq grill.

The Pawnee cabin is now a PET-FRIENDLY cabin. An additional $50.00 (non refundable) is required at the time the reservation is made. For more information contact Tuttle Creek State Park @ 785-539-7941. The office hours are: M-F 8am-4:30pm.

The cabin is stocked with basic pots, pans, dishes, silverware, coffee maker, toaster, dish cloth & towel and dish soap. Mop, broom, and trash bags are also in the cabin.

Extra Info

Users furnish bedding, linens, personal items and food.
NO SMOKING OR VAPING allowed in the cabins.
Users are responsible for any and all damages incurred during their stay.

Vehicle Permits are required in all Kansas State Parks. You can obtain them at the park upon arrival.

If you have any issues in you cabin, out hosts for the cabins is the last campsite after the office just before you turned to the right.

Big Oak offers a bathroom with toilet, sink & stall shower, a kitchen with cook top stove (no oven), dorm size refrigerator, microwave, table and chairs. Kitchen items provided include basic pots, pans and utensils, coffeemaker (filters not provided), toaster, dishes, and silverware. There is a bunk bed and full size futon. The cabin can sleep up to four. (bed linens, pillows and towels not provided)

The cabin also has a toadstool shelter included with it, along with a charcoal grill, picnic table, and fire ring.

Big Oak is pet friendly with an additional $50 pet fee required before arrival.

Kitchen has a small oven/stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, pots & pans, dishes, silverware, a table and chairs. The kitchen is also equipped with a small oven/stove and a refrigerator with freezer. Charcoal barbecue grills are provided at the Otoe cabins.

Cabin has a modern bathroom with shower as well as air conditioning and heating.

Bedding is not provided. You will need to bring your own bedding, towels, & toiletry items. No pets are allowed in the cabins and smoking is prohibited in the cabins.

Primitive three room cabin will sleep 5 (one double bed, a double futon bunk bed with a twin on top. No kitchen or restroom but shower facalities nearby. Has beds, electricity, heat and A/C. Outside there is a water hydrant, BBQ grill and picnic table.

Cross Timbers State Park offers rustic cabin rentals. The cabins are located on the lake in the Toronto Point area and allow the visitor to enjoy the beauty of Toronto Lake and the Cross Timbers region. The cabins are located close to the trails, boat docks, fishing pier, and many other amenities.

Sandstone Bluff cabin is reservable year round. Reservations may be made up to a year in advance. Reservations can be made at www.reserveamerica.com, Campit KS app, or by calling the park office.

In addition to the cabin reservation, you must have a vehicle pass. Must be 18 or older to reserve and rent the cabin. No Smoking, or Pets are allowed in the cabin, no tents at the cabins. This is a housekeeping cabin. Please bring your own bedding, soap, and towels, cabins should be left as they are found, basic cleaning supplies are provided.

The cabin comes with:

Bathroom/shower, microwave, full size refrigerator, 2-burner cook stove, full bed, bunk beds, 2 twin beds in loft, futon, table and chairs, AC/heat, outside hydrant, picnic table, fire ring w/grill, dish set with silverware, glasses, toaster, coffee pot, and other limited cookware.
