    The Cherokee cabin is a modern log sided cabin. The cabin has a full kitchen with refrigerator, stove, microwave and basic kitchen amenities. The master bedroom has a full size bed and a double futon. The bathroom has a large walk in shower and toilet. The front room has a sofa and also a pull down twin size Murphy bed. The Cherokee will accommodate up to 6 people. The cabin is air conditioned and heated but does not have television or phone.

    The cabin is stocked with basic pots, pans, dishes, silverware, coffee maker, toaster, dish cloth & towel and dish soap. Mop, broom, and trash bags are also in the cabin. A concrete shelter is located adjacent to the cabin and has a picnic table, fire-ring and bbq grill.

    You furnish bedding, linens, personal items and your food.
    There is NO SMOKING/VAPING and NO PETS allowed in the cabins.
    You are responsible for any and all damages incurred during your stay.

    The canoe rental shop opens up on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend and closes the last weekend in September. The canoe rental shop is CLOSED Monday and Tuesday during the week due cleaning purposes of kayaks and giving staff time off. The canoe rental shop is OPEN Wednesday thru Sunday at 10am and everyone has to be off the water by 6pm. It is $10 an hour to rent one of the kayaks, canoes, or paddleboards from the park and they CANNOT leave the River Pond Area. Everyone who uses one of these floatation devices must be wearing their PFDs, and the canoe rental shed does have a limited stock of PFDs that can be borrowed. Children under the age of 12 must ride in a tandem kayak accompanied with another adult. The kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards are all first come first service bases, we do not reserve any beforehand.
