    Morning Glory cabin offers a spectacular view off the front porch which is a stone's throw from the lake.

    The kitchen is complete with stove, refrigerator, microwave, pots and pans, dishware, a toaster and a coffee maker with filters.

    It is air conditioned and heated for year round comfort.

    The restroom is large and has a large walk-in w/c accessible shower. You will need to bring towels, washcloths, soap, shampoo, and other toiletries.

    This cabin will hold up to five adults. It has one bedroom with a full-size bed and a sofa.
    You will need to bring bedding for full and twin size beds, pillows, and blankets if desired.

    The living room/kitchen area also offers a twin-size murphy bed and a futon.

    A grill, fire ring, and a cooker are available also.

    The cabin is ADA accessible and open year around.

    Vehicle permits are required for all vehicles entering Crawford State Park.

    No camping is allowed in the cabin area.

    No pets are allowed inside the cabin and are subject to park leash laws.

    No smoking is allowed anywhere in the cabin. It is a smoke free cabin.

    You must be at least 18 years old to rent a cabin.

    Reservations are accepted via the web site or through our office on a first come first served basis.

    Reservations may be made up to a year in advance.

    Phone reservations require a credit card payment. Prices are subject to change.

    All reservations require a payment for the total rental fee plus a non-refundable, non-transferable reservation fee.

    Please refer to the information provided when you click on the reservation site for any updated information regarding making reservations, prices, and availability of the cabin.

    This is a housekeeping cabin and the cabin must be left in the condition in which it was found upon check-in.

    Cabin renters shall be responsible for full payment of any damages incurred during their length of stay.

    Check-in time is 2:00 pm,

    Check-out time is 12:00 noon.

    The Landing is one of three new cabins on Evening Breeze Point. It has a wonderful view of the lake off the front porch and the patio has steps that go down to the waterfront.

     The Landing offers a kitchen complete with stove, refrigerator, microwave, pots and pans, dishware, utensils, a toaster and a coffee maker with filters. There is a breakfast bar that seats 4-5. The ceilings are vaulted with ceiling fans in the kitchen/living area and in the bedroom.

    Cheney State Park has nine modern cabins that we are offering as an alternative to “roughing it.” These provide a great opportunity to experience the joys of the outdoors for those wanting to enjoy the lake but not wanting to tent-camp.

    Cabins are located in an area together but staggered to provide privacy from each other. They are in close proximity to the lake and are within walking distance of the beach and swimming area.

    Nighthawk #7 Interior

    Nighthawk Cabin #7 is the handicapped accessible cabin and

    sleeps four with a full-sized bed with a bunk above it and a separate roll-a-way bed, heating and air-conditioning, table and chairs, shower and toilet, a dorm-room sized refrigerator, a microwave, toaster and coffee pot. This cabin has a deck, a patio with a charcoal grill provided, picnic table, fire ring, outside water hydrant and exterior electrical outlet. Those reserving the cabins must provide their own bed linens, pillows, kitchen utensils, towels, soap, and personal items. Smoking is not allowed in the cabins and pets are not allowed in the cabins.

    Nighthawk #7 Kitchenette

    Reservations are accepted online or by phone at the Cheney State Park Office, 316-542-3664. Reservations are handled on a first-come, first-served basis, and for a period of 364 days in advance. Reservations require full payment up front and include the total stay plus a nonrefundable reservation fee. We do require a $75 damage deposit in cash, check or credit card that will be returned to you if the cabin is left in good condition. We ask that you leave the cabin in the condition it was in when you checked in.

    Cabins reserve for the following prices and prices are subject to change:

    Sunday - Thursday: $75 /night

    Friday/Saturday: $100 /night

    In addition, a daily vehicle permit is required in all state parks unless the renter has a current annual permit. The daily fee is $5.00 a day for a vehicle permit and can be purchased when you arrive. Prices for annual permits and senior permits and how to obtain them are located elsewhere on this site.
