    The Special Event fee will be $30.00 for Shelter #2. All shelters are located across the street from a Shower House with flush toilets and have shaded areas with open field for any activities that you have planed.

    Shelter#2 - Located in the Picnic Area (West Side) Our most popular Shelter! Has a built in grill pit, swing set near it with a sand volleyball court & flush toilet across the street.

     

     

    Reserve a Shelter by contacting the State Park Office 785/842-8562. You'll have access from Sun Up to Sun Down with your reservation.

    Please contact Sherri at the Park Office for a Special Event Form to complete & return to our office as soon as possible to ensure your reservation. Once the permit is approved, payment may be taken over the phone or in person. I will email/fax back a confirmation of your reserved area, as soon as I receive your completed form. (Alcohol is allowed, but NO KEGS! Beverages in Cans apposed to Glass containers are preferred.)

     

    Just FYI - each vehicle that enters the State Park must have a Vehicle Permit.

     

    Daily vehicle permit - $5.00/per vehicle per day. Each vehicle will be required to stop at the entrance gate vendor and pay the attendant at the booth or pay in the Park Office. You may pre-purchase daily vehicle permits for your group.

    If you'd like to use a shelter that isn't already reserved you may do that for no additional charge.

    Join us for our First Day Hike 2019, bring your family and friends! Pets are welcome as well, but please have them on a leash. This hike will be approximately 2 miles. Meet us at the Park Office at 1 pm!   

    Purchase your $5.00 daily vehicle permit at the Self Pay Station upon arrival. Complete the information on the front of the envelope and retain the attached perforated vehicle permit. Display it on the Lower Left Hand side of your windshield. (Those of you with a valid Park Passport will not be charged for a daily vehicle permit.)

    If you would like to purchase an Annual Vehicle Permit and can bring the self pay receipt back to us before January 14th we will put that $5.00 towards your $25.00 annual permit. This must be done at the Park Office ONLY! (Open 8-4 Monday - Friday)

    Cross Timbers State Park offers rustic cabin rentals. Timber Walker cabin is reservable year round. Reservations may be made up to a year in advance. Reservations can be made at www.reserveamerica.com, Campit KS app, or by calling the office 620-637-2213. In addition to the cabin reservation, you must have a vehicle pass. You must be 18 or older to reserve and rent the cabin. No Smoking or tents are allowed at the cabins, pets are only allowed in Eagle's Nest cabin with a paid pet fee. This is a housekeeping cabin. Please bring your own bedding, soap, and towels. The cabin comes with: Bathroom/shower, microwave, refrigerator, 4-burner cook stove with oven, full bed, Murphy twin bed, futon, table and chairs, AC/heat, outside hydrant, picnic table, fire ring w/grill, service for 8 set with silverware, glasses, toaster, coffee pot, and other limited cookware. Check in time is 3:00 p.m. Check out time is 12:00 p.m. (noon) Cabin renters shall be responsible for full payment of any damages incurred during their length of stay. We accept Visa, MasterCard, or Discover Card as payment for cabin rental. You may contact our park office at 620-637-2213 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
