Shelter #6

Shelter #6 - $30.00

Located in the South end of Camp Ground #3.  Has electricity & little shade, but right next to a playground area with utility sites near.  Across the street is a Shower House. There is a camp fire ring on the South Side of the shelter.

Here at the State Park we have 6 Shelters for reservation. 

Our state park sites atop an 80ft bluff so our shelters are not near the water.

(Shelter 1 & 2 in Picnic Area, Shelter 3 & 4 in Campground #1 and Shelter 5 & 6 in Campground #3.)

The Special Event fee will be $30.00 for EVEN numbered Shelter's (they have electricity) and $25.00 for ODD numbered Shelters.  All shelters are located across the street from a Shower House with flush toilets and have shaded areas with open field for any activities that you have planed.

Please contact Sherri at the Park Office for a Special Event Form to complete & return to our office as soon as possible to ensure your reservation.  Once the permit is approved, payment may be taken over the phone or in person.  I will email/fax back a confirmation of your reserved area, as soon as I receive your completed form.      

(Alcohol is allowed, but NO KEGS!  Beverages in Cans apposed to Glass containers are preferred.)

Just FYI - each vehicle that enters the State Park must have a Vehicle Permit.

Daily vehicle permit - $5.00/per vehicle per day.  Each vehicle will be required to stop at the entrance gate vendor and pay the attendant at the booth or pay in the Park Office.   You may pre-purchase daily vehicle permits for your group.

Cabin Prices, Pictures & Locations

Cabin Rental Prices, Pictures of inside Cabins, Amenities & ORDER they sit in on the bluff.

The cabins are outfitted very nicely inside and out. 

  • They have a refrigerator/freezer, four burner electric stove/oven, microwave, toaster, coffee pot and all off the utensils you'll need. 
  • The bathroom is very comfortable with a walk-in shower, vanity/mirror and of course a flush commode.
  • One Bedroom Cabins - Sleep 5 or 6 - In the master bedroom there is a full bed and a sofa.  The futon in the living are folds down to a full size bed.  On one wall in the living area there is a pull down twin Murphy bed. 
  • Two Bedroom Cabin - Sleep 8 or 9 - In the master bedroom there is a full bed and a sofa.  The futon in the living are folds down to a full size bed.  The second bedroom has two sets of bunk beds (4 twin mattresses)
  • The outside cabin site is fit with a nice large campfire ring, a stand-up BBQ grill, picnic table and concrete patio. 

 You should plan to bring your bedding to make up the beds, towels for showering and of course your food and beverage items. 

A reminder if you stay with us:  NO PETS of ANY kind in or around the cabins and NO SMOKING inside the cabins

After 2 pm on the day you are scheduled to arrive, you may go ahead and enter into your cabin by using the last four digits of your reservation # for that cabin as the door entry code.
