From Central and Andover Rd., go east on Central past schools; park and pond are on the south side. Follow road around south and east to the pond.

|Channel Catfish||Fair||Up to 3 lbs||Chisholm North, Watson, Emery Park, the KDOT lakes and the other lakes in the Wichita Metro Area are excellent for Catfish. The last stocking of Channel Catfish for the year was on September 26th. However, Channel Catfish will still bite in cold water. Try fishing with cut bait, worms, or stink bait near deeper water.|
|Crappie||Fair to Good||Up to 12"||Crappie fishing is best at the KDOT Lakes, Watson Park, K-96 lake and Chisholm North lake. Try using minnows or a small jig near deep structure.|
|Largemouth Bass||Poor||Up to 18"||Bass fishing in Wichita can be found at any of the lakes, but the best reports come from the KDOT lakes, Emery Park, Blackbird and Sunflower Ponds and Chisholm north lake. Try fishing slow using artificial lures near deep structure.|
|Bluegill||Poor to Fair||Up to 8"||Bluegill are present in every lake in the area, but are especially good at Blackbird and Sunflower ponds, Chisholm North lake, and Emery Park Pond. Try a small piece of worm or a small jig around deeper structure.|

Trout season is here! Rainbow are stocked into KDOT East, Vic's Lake, and Slough Creek. The latest stocking was on Nov, 14th. Try using floating dough baits, worms, spoons, or small spinning baits. Anglers must use artificial flies only on Slough Creek.
Remember that KDOT East, Vic's Lake, and Slough Creek are Type 1 trout waters and all anglers fishing those waters November 1st - April 15th must have a trout permit.
