KDWP OFFERS CANADA GOOSE HUNTING SEMINAR
Seminar is third in series of specialized hunting seminars; more planned
PRATT -- On Dec. 11, Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks volunteer hunter education instructors will conduct a Canada goose hunting seminar in Haysville. This is a hands-on, beginner’s course covering waterfowl identification, goose decoy spreads, calling and flagging, and concealment.
This is one of a series of advanced hunter education classes offered by the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks in response to the demand for more training in specific types of hunting. This year, seminars have been conducted on deer and duck hunting. Future seminars will include hunting upland birds, small game, muzzleloader hunting, and bowhunting.
