FARMERS AND HUNTERS FEEDING THE HUNGRY TREESTAND EVENT CANCELLED

Bowhunter will not sit in tree to raise money for venison donations
TOPEKA -- A recently-announced event to raise money for a Kansas Chapter of Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry (FHFH) has been cancelled. Brian Hermann had planned to sit in a treestand at the corner of 45th and Adams in Topeka to raise money for the organization, but logistical issues have prevented the event.

FHFH provides venison to needy families. Hunters can donate deer to participating processors at no cost to the hunter. Donations from hunters, churches, clubs, businesses, and individuals cover the costs of processing, packaging, and freezing the meat.

For more information on FHFH in Kansas, phone Tony DeRossett at 913-724-1189 or email tonyderossett@fhfh.org.
