KANSAS WATERFOWL HUNTERS’ PREFERENCES SOUGHT IN SURVEY

Online survey results to help guide future waterfowl regulations

The Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks wants to hear from waterfowl hunters. Specifically, the department would like to hear from the 2,794 waterfowl hunters who recently received a postcard asking for their participation in an online survey.

“The survey is designed to determine hunter satisfaction, season preferences, and where and when their hunting occurred,” said Faye McNew, KDWP’s waterfowl program coordinator. “Results of the survey will help shape future regulations and waterfowl seasons.”

Waterfowl hunters who received the postcard are encouraged to go here to complete the survey, using identification numbers provided on the postcard. Postcard recipients who have questions about completing the survey may contact Tonya Hoeme at KDWP’s Pratt office (620/672-0797).
