ELK AND EITHER-SPECIES/EITHER-SEX DEER PERMIT APPLICATIONS DUE JULY 11
July 10, 2014
Interested hunters can apply online at ksoutdoors.com
PRATT – The application deadlines for the limited number of 2014 Unit 2A (Ft. Riley) resident elk and either-species/either-sex firearms deer permits are quickly approaching. Hunters have until 11:59 p.m. on July 11, 2014 to apply for these draws, or purchase a preference point. A hunter who does not wish to hunt this year may purchase a preference point that will count toward a firearm either-species/either-sex deer permit in a future drawing or a bonus point for either-sex elk. Unsuccessful applicants automatically receive preference or bonus points.
New this year, hunters age 15 and younger can enjoy reduced fees for youth deer and elk permits.
Draw applications for either of these species can be made by visiting ksoutdoors.com and clicking “Hunting,” then “Applications and Fees.”
