Spring Becoming An Outdoors-Woman Workshop Full
PRATT – Registration for the 2017 spring workshop of Becoming An Outdoors-Woman (BOW), which is limited to 48 participants, is full. The spring workshop is a smaller version of the fall workshop, though both are conducted at the Rock Springs 4-H Center near Junction City and are designed to offer adult women opportunities to learn outdoor skills in a safe and comfortable environment.
The 2017 fall workshop is scheduled for Sept. 15-17, and registration materials will be available at ksoutdoors.com in June. The fall workshop is limited to 100 participants and offers classes on hunting, fishing, orienteering, backpacking, camping and boating, to name a few. Cost for the workshop is $235, which covers lodging, meals and all supplies and gear.
