Riley Cabin

    The Riley cabin is a modern log sided cabin and is ADA accessible. The cabin has a full kitchen with refrigerator, stove, microwave and basic kitchen amenities. The master bedroom has a full size bed and a double futon. The bathroom has a large walk in shower and toilet. The front room has a sofa and also a pull down twin size Murphy bed. The Riley Cabin can accommodate up to 6 people. The cabin is air conditioned and heated but does not have television or phone.

    The Riley cabin is located in the Cedar Ridge area and overlooks the marina on the Tuttle Creek reservoir.

    The cabin is stocked with basic pots, pans, dishes, silverware, coffee maker, toaster, dish cloth & towel and dish soap. Mop, broom, and trash bags are also in the cabin. There is not a covered shelter over the outside living area. A picnic table, fire ring and large charcoal bbq grill are adjacent to the cabin.

    You furnish bedding, linens, personal items and your food.
    There is NO SMOKING OR VAPING, and NO PETS allowed in the cabins.
    You are responsible for any and all damages incurred during your stay.
    Check out is always by noon and check in time is at 3pm.

    If you have any issues with your cabin, please call the park office at: 785-539-7941, office hours are: M-F 8am-4:30pm.

    Vehicle permits are required in all Kansas State Parks. You can obtain them at the park upon arrival.

    The Pottawatomie cabin is a modern log sided cabin and is ADA accessible. The cabin has a full kitchen with refrigerator, stove, microwave and basic kitchen amenities.     Pawnee Cabin

    Pawnee cabin is a modern log sided cabin. The cabin has a full kitchen with refrigerator, stove top (NO OVEN), microwave, and basic kitchen amenities. The master bedroom has a full size bed. The cabin offers a table with four chairs and a futon in the living room. The bathroom has a shower and toilet. Pawnee will accommodate up to 4 people. The cabin is air conditioned and heated, but does not have a television or phone. A concrete shelter is located outside the cabin and has a picnic table, fire-ring and bbq grill.

    The Pawnee cabin is now a PET-FRIENDLY cabin. An additional $50.00 (non refundable) is required at the time the reservation is made. For more information contact Tuttle Creek State Park @ 785-539-7941. The office hours are: M-F 8am-4:30pm.

A public hearing will be conducted by the Wildlife and Parks Commission at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 26, 2006 at the NeoshoCountyCommunity College, 800 W. 14th St, Chanute, Kansas, to consider the approval and adoption of proposed administrative regulations of the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks.

A workshop meeting on business of the Wildlife and Parks Commission will begin at 1:30 p.m., October 26 at the location listed above. The meeting will recess at 5:30 p.m. then resume at 7:00 p.m. at the same location for the regulatory hearing. There will be public comment periods at the beginning of the afternoon and evening meetings for any issues not on the agenda and additional comment periods will be available during the meeting on agenda items. Old and new business may also be discussed at this time. If necessary to complete the hearing or other business matters, the commission will reconvene at 9:00 a.m. October 27 at the location listed above.
