The Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks & Tourism (KDWPT) in co- operation with the Jayhawk Chapter of The Quail and Upland Wildlife Federation are hosting a Quail Habitat Management Tour.  Private landowners are encouraged to attend to find out how they can man- age their property to benefit Quail and other Upland Wildlife.  The tour will take place on Clinton  Wildlife Area.  Several stops are scheduled to showcase habitat management practices staff are using to improve upland habitats on the area.  In addition, KDWPT biologists will discuss technical and cost-share assistance available to land- owners through KDWPT programs and Federal Farm Bill programs.
