Kansas Wildlife, Parks and Tourism Commission To Meet With Governor’s Travel and Tourism Council
KANSAS CITY – A joint meeting between the Kansas Governor’s Council on Travel and Tourism and the Kansas Wildlife, Parks and Tourism (KDWPT) Commission will occur Thursday, June 22 at Children’s Mercy Park, 1 Sporting Way, Kansas City, Kan., home of the Sporting KC soccer team.
Attendees will gather for a facility tour beginning at 9:30 a.m., followed by the meeting at 10:30 a.m.
The KDWPT Commission will later conduct their June 22 public meeting at 1 p.m. at the George Meyn Center, 126th and State Ave, Kansas City, Kan. Commissioners will recess at 5 p.m., and reconvene at 6:30 p.m. for the evening portion. Time will be allotted for general public comment on non-agenda items at the beginning of each session.
