Come out to the Prairie Spirit Trail State Park to celebrate the New Year January 1st, 2021! Due to COVID safety concerns, this year we will not be having a group hike starting at the Old Train Depot in Ottowa, KS. Instead, we encourage you to get out and hike anywhere on the Prairie Spirit OR Flint Hills Trail, take a selfie or group photo with your name, address, phone number, and shirt size, for a chance to win a First Day Hike 2021 t-shirt. From 1pm-4pm, you may have a chance to win a shirt if you hike the section from Legacy Square in Ottowa, KS (1st and Walnut) west to the signature bridge just west of the Orlis Cox Sports Complex, where a member of the staff will be waiting to greet you! But hurry, shirts will be in limited supply! Happy New Year and we hope to see you out there!
