Age Groups: No age groups or men and women divisions. This is just a fun gathering of fitness minded individuals! Remember the “Bring Your Own Prize” details? Well, prizes are awarded by finishing order! This gives each person a chance to win something fun!

How To Register: To reserve a spot, PLEASE email Sara Kay at Historic Lake Scott. Reserving with Sara Kay will guarantee a piece of pie for you at the finish!! Registration is not required, but registering sure does help me plan for pie, water, etc! Email sarakay.carrell@ks.gov. Or call the office and leave your name and phone number! Office 620-872-2061 If you email me, I WILL send a confirmation email so you know you are on the list!

Start and Finish: The start/finish will be located at the Junction of Beach House Drive and West Lake Scott Drive. Its just SW side of Circle Drive. Don’t worry. We will have signs out to direct you! We have a mowed area to park.

Restrooms: Restrooms will be available. There are flushing toilets open at the newest restroom on the East side of Circle Drive. There is also a vault toilet available at the Boat ramp. Both locations are within a 5 minute walk of the Start/Finish.

Route: The route will be a “lollipop” style. The first half mile and the last half mile will be the same section of trail. All the rest of the trail will be a big loop. There will be only 0.25 mile of pavement. The route will cross THRU the spillway (if weather conditions allows!). Be prepared to carefully walk thru the spillway if weather allows the spillway route. This area may have water running over, so beware of potential slick spots of algae growth!! Click the link to view the trail route! Don’t worry! The route will be very well marked and we WILL play it safe and re-route out of the spillway if weather makes it unsafe! https://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/4131096070

Water Station: A water station will be set up at approximately the mid way point. There will be another station at approximately the 2.5-ish mile point.

Weather: Is the weather forecast looking questionable? This detailed description page will be the location to monitor for changes or cancellations!
