First Annual Historic Lake Scott Turkey Trot!!!

Half Marathon Option: Two laps around Lake Scott. This will be about 13 miles. Route will consist of the road system that circles around the lake! Half paved, half dirt county roads and a bit of highway 95. 

10k Option: One lap around Lake Scott. This will be about 6.5 miles. Route will consist of the road system that circles around the lake! Half paved, half dirt county roads and a bit of Highway 95. 

Laps around Lake Scott include a mix of pavement, maintained dirt county roads, and a little bit of Highway 95.

Registration/Start/Finish will be at the Program Area. This is south of the Beach House and/or on the East side of the Circle Drive Utility camping area. 

Pre Registration is preferred!!! This allows me to have as many details prepped before run day and to ensure I have enough supplies on course for the runners!!!

For those that prefer to have a map before the event, I will be making a Google Earth map image. You must email me so I can send you the map file!

REGISTRATION: Please email by end of day Wednesday November 16th. (Please just don't wait until late at night Friday November 18th! I will not see your email!)

ON SITE: Registration opens at 9:15am.

RUN START TIME: 10:00am

Fees: This is a “Bring Your Own Prize” style entry fee!! Each participant is asked to bring a prize valued at approximately $10. Be creative. Be fun. Be unique! Prizes can be home made. Prizes can be purchased. Prizes can be little bundles of a variety of items. Just have fun with choosing a prize to bring to share!

Age Groups: No age groups or men and women divisions. This is just a fun gathering of fitness minded individuals! Remember the “Bring Your Own Prize” details? Well, prizes are awarded by finishing order! This gives each person a chance to win something fun!

Restrooms: Restrooms will be available. There are flushing toilets open at the newest restroom on the East side of Circle Drive. There is also a vault toilet available at the Boat ramp. (Currently, these restrooms are closed due to a collapsed septic system. Plans are to have this restroom fully functioning by November!)
