Type: Wildlife Viewing
The Facility is ADA Compliant
Description:
A .61 mile trail around 2 ponds with 5 photo blinds and an elevated board walk over a marsh and interpretive signs along the way.
History:
This trail was built on what used to be a dirt track for motorcycles. Flooding in 1993 made the track unusable and finances didn't allow for repairs. A grant and some generous donations made it possible to "recycle" this area. Many species of wildlife and birds can be seen in this small area. The trails are 75% handicap accessible, one grade is a little steep.
