Lovewell State Park office hours this week are 8am to 4:30pm Monday thru Friday; Closed Saturday and Sunday.
2020 Campsites are now available for reservations, and 2020 Annual State Park vehicle permits and Annual/14Day Camping Permits are now available to purchase.
As of 1-15-20, Reservoir is 1 ft below conservation pool. The reservoir is approx. 97% ice-covered, and boat ramps are iced in. The Cedar Point Boat Ramp is closed due to a construction project at that location.
Cottonwood, North Willow and Cedar Point Utility Campgrounds, along with the Cottonwood, Willow and Beach Shower/Restroom facilities, are now closed for the season. Walleye Point Shower/Restroom as well as Walleye Point and South Willow Utility Campgrounds are open for late season camping. Rose Hill Dump Station is currently closed due to a maintenance issue.

Kansas Hunting and Fishing licenses are now sold on a 365 format, meaning those licenses are valid for 365 days from the date of purchase. Annual Park Permits are still valid for the calendar year. Customers who purchase an Annual or 14Day Camping permit receive a $10 per-night discount on any standard campsite (excluding cabins). Utility fees still apply as necessary.
Camping Cabin reservations are available up to 364 days in advance. 2019 campsite reservations for the Walleye Point, Cottonwood, and North Willow Utility Campgrounds are available April thru September at www.reserveamerica.com, or by calling the office during business hours. Remember, Kansas residents can purchase their Annual Park Passport at a reduced rate with vehicle registration at the courthouse!
Frontier, Pioneer, Pine Ridge and Sunrise Camping Cabins are designated as a "PET FRIENDLY" cabin. Customers who wish to bring their pets for their stay at these Camping Cabins will need to choose the "Pet Friendly" option on the online reservation page (or request it during a telephone reservation), and pay an add'l fee of $50.00. All other cabins remain as "No Pets Allowed". Pets must be kept outside in a kennel or on a secured chain or leash.
