LOVEWELL STATE PARK NEWS, NOTES AND HAPPENINGS!! Updated weekly.

Lovewell State Park office hours are Monday thru Friday 8am to 4:30pm. The office will be closed on Monday, January 21st for the Martin Luther King Jr Remembrance Day. 

Kansas Hunting and Fishing licenses are now sold on a 365 format, meaning those licenses are valid for 365 days from the date of purchase. Annual Park Permits are still valid for the calendar year.  

2019 Annual Camping permits are $202.50 (October - March) and $252.50 (April - September). 14-Night Camping permits will be $112.50 year-round. Customers who purchase one of these permits will receive a $10 per-night discount on any standard campsite (excluding cabins). Utility fees still apply as necessary.

Cottonwood, Cedar Point and North Willow Campgrounds are closed for the season, as well as the Cottonwood, Southwinds and Willow Shower/Restroom Facilities. South Willow Utility Campground, and Walleye Point Utility Campground & Shower/Restroom Facility will remain open year-round.

Lovewell Marina is currently closed for the season.  Other options for purchase of your hunting or fishing license are here online. Or at Webb's Bait & Tackle, Mankato KS (evenings and weekends).

Lovewell Reservoir is currently at conservation pool.

Camping Cabin reservations are available up to 364 days in advance. 2017 campsite reservations for the Walleye Point, Cottonwood, and North Willow Utility Campgrounds are available April thru September at www.reserveamerica.com, or by calling the office during business hours. Remember, Kansas residents can purchase their Annual Park Passport at a reduced rate with vehicle registration at the courthouse!

Frontier, Pioneer, Pine Ridge and Sunrise Camping Cabins are designated as a "PET FRIENDLY" cabin. Customers who wish to bring their pets for their stay at these Camping Cabins will need to choose the "Pet Friendly" option on the online reservation page (or request it during a telephone reservation), and pay an add'l fee of $50.00. All other cabins remain as "No Pets Allowed". Pets must be kept outside in a kennel or on a secured chain or leash.
