Employees of the Prairie Dog State Park along with Friends of Prairie Dog State Park Group will host the First Day Hike. Hikers will walk a 1.4-mile gravel trail located in the central part of the Park. Kids will have the opportunity to read a story walk book posted along the trail. Planned handouts for the hike include long-sleeve t-shirts and reusable hand warmers, both in limited supply.
