|Largemouth Bass||fair||6-12"||Fishing is good for bass under 10" and are easily caught using light tackle and small lures.|
|Channel Catfish||fair||12-18"||Various catfish baits should work. A few fish are above the 15" minimum length limit but do not expect to catch any big fish.|
|Walleye||Poor||8-12"||I don't expect any of these fish to be above the 15" minimum length limit.|
|Bluegill||Fair||4-6"||mealworms, nightcrawlers, or small jigs.|
|Crappie||Poor||Some adult crappie were stocked last year, and more fingerlings will be stocked this year. But for now, do not expect to catch many.|
Woodson State Fishing Lake is back open to fishing, however, do not expect to catch many harvestable size fish. Be sure to read and follow the length and creel limits.
The lake is 7 ft. low but the boat ramp is usable.
